As the co-founder of Canada’s premier indie film studios Electric Panda Entertainment (EPE), our principal has played an instrumental role in all of EPE’s film and television titles.

Premiering on Canada’s OMNI national television network in the fall of 2018 across Canada, this new season has everything: intrigues, actions, new faces, old foes…all wrapped up in this trailblazing drama that it was the first time in North American screened entertainment audience can see substantial portions of performing languages in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.  This show was the first primetime drama that had an all-Asian cast.  This show has done a lot for screen diversity that is reflective of the real world we all live in.  [Our founder Ben Lu is the season producer.]

We did a video pitch to develop a mobile-game to promote the history of the Silk Road.  The work is still undergoing but the video is too damned cool not to share.

Produced and directed this popular weight management product, featuring a talented actor Tammy Gillis.

Our second time working with baseball icon Joe Carter.  His home run hit clinched the World Series title for Toronto Blue Jays back in the days.  We can attest that he is widely revered by many young players aspiring to be the next Joe Carter!

This is the third time we worked with the ever-upbeat, efficient and confident Kathy Smith, the American fitness icon.

Partnered with Hamazki Wong, we produced this green-screen shot for Air Canada’s promotion focusing on S. Korea.

We worked with one of Vancouver’s largest advertising agencies Wasserman + Partners on this multilingual brand launch for BC’s largest credit union, Vancity. And this is a small part of what we did together.  We are proud of being able to transcend the perceived cultural boundaries and turned a beautifully written prose into an equally eloquent piece in Chinese and Punjabi.

We were very pleased to be part of this stunningly produced campaign.  The music, pacing and colour schemes were exquisite.

This is a Mandarin versioning we did for Air Canada’s Asian market agency Hamazaki Wong. Beautiful tune and very particular client (and rightly so). Keeping the nuances of the original message and transcreate them in another language is never a walk in the park. 這是我們給加航做的國語廣告。廣告公司為加航的亞洲市場廣告策劃Hamazaki Wong。該製作音樂優美,客戶要求非常高,出來的效果也非常好。

A video vignette for The Salvation Army. We sourced over 600 images from The Salvation Army’s archive in Victoria, Vancouver, San Francisco and Toronto and pieced this moving recap of how the now famous Christmas Kettle came about. Voiced by Earl Mann. Some say, he’s the voice of God.

How do you present the pinnacle of luxury car manufacturing? A elegant piece of music and minimum narration and let the visuals speak the rest. This is the gold winner of the 2007 Canadian TVB commercial national contest.

Two ladies playing go, traditionally a men’s game. For the famed Japanese reishi grower and producer Nissan Chemicals. Reishi is a traditional Chinese medicinal herb (靈芝) and is prized for its healing properties in TCM.
